　　2.Listen to the tape and repeat. (解决了难点，学习这个chant就比较容易了。)

　　（设计意图：利用猜谜活动，让学生对What a surprise! 这个难点有一个直观的理解。）

　　Activity 3. Let’s sing: Noodle, noodle, dumpling.

　　预先在盘子里放些面条、饺子的实物或图片，老师说：Now, what’s in the plate? Yes, they’re noodles and dumplings. They’re delicious. Now, let’s sing the song.

　　1. 先听一遍，解释重点词：pyjamas and slipper.

　　2. 跟唱（音乐领悟能力强的同学可作技能表演）

　　3. 唱歌比赛（促进学得好和学得快的学生起榜样作用）

　　歌曲教学已经在前面四课时中有所渗透，所以这一课时学起来较容易。

　　Activity 4. Culture

　　教师说：Chinese people eat noodles and dumplings with chopsticks. What do the foreigners use? 学生肯定会用中文说出相应的餐具，教师趁机分别出示fork, spoon, knife等餐具让学生了解，然后问学生西方人吃西餐时是怎样来使用这些餐具的？

　　1. 学生进行具体的使用活动时，教师可进行正确的指导：

　　The knife is on the right.

　　The fork is on the left.

　　The spoon is beside the knife.

　　2. 用chant形式来要求学生就餐具进行正确的摆放这个过程中看学生是否能进行正确的操作。

　　Knife, knife, on the right.

　　Fork, fork, on the left.

　　Spoon, spoon, beside the knife.

　　Plate, plate, in the middle.

　　3. Listen to the tape.

　　要求学生基本上能听懂用英语介绍的西方文化知识。
